Parents
Behind every Young Scholar are the caring adults who believe in their potential.
Young Scholars celebrates bright, motivated students in grades 6–8 and helps them build confidence, develop leadership skills, and stay curious as they grow. Through recognition, engaging events, learning resources, and a supportive community, we help students take their first steps toward future success in high school, college, and beyond.
Claes Nobel, co-founder of our high school partner organization NSHSS and a member of the family that established the Nobel Prizes, believed that young people have the power to change the world. At Young Scholars, we believe that the journey starts now—with students like yours.
Honor and Support
“As a grandfather, I see firsthand how much potential exists in young learners. I created Young Scholars because I believe recognition and encouragement shouldn't have to wait until high school. These early years matter. They're full of discovery, drive, and dreams—and I wanted to build something that celebrates and supports students right where they are.”
— James Lewis,
President and Founder, NSHSS and Young Scholars

Why Young Scholars?
We believe that academic achievement and leadership begin early, and that middle school is the perfect time to nurture students’ confidence, curiosity, and potential. Young Scholars is designed to help you support and inspire your student during these foundational years, setting them up for success in high school, college, and beyond.
We recognize motivated young students, encourage their love of learning, and connect them with resources and a growing community of peers who are excited about their future. We’re proud to work alongside a network of respected partners in education, enrichment, and leadership, bringing families access to meaningful experiences and opportunities that grow with your student.
