How to Start a Club in Middle School

A Step-by-Step Guide
May 4, 2026 at 6:30 PM ET

Starting a club can be a great way to make friends, explore your interests, build leadership skills, and make a positive impact in your school community. In this Young Scholars webinar, middle school students will hear directly from high school students who have started or helped lead clubs of their own.

Our student speakers will share what inspired them, how they found an advisor, how they recruited members, what they learned from their first meetings, and what they wish they had known when they were just getting started. The webinar will also include time for a student panel and Q&A, so attendees can ask questions and get practical advice from peers who have been through the process.
