Kaitlyn Garrett is an educator, writer, and literary editor based in Atlanta, Georgia. In August 2025, she began her new position as a second-grade teacher.

Having graduated from the University of Richmond with a degree in Leadership Studies and English, she is passionate about community engagement, vocalizing the importance of humanities education, and purposeful communication.

Kaitlyn’s diverse background within the educational-realm, from administration to tutoring, gives her a special insight into both education-program development and the individual’s relationship to learning.
