Giahna L
Giahna L is a service-oriented student who has demonstrated consistent commitment to her community, faith, and academic enrichment throughout her middle school years. In competitive health sciences, Giahna participated in HOSA for three consecutive years, progressively earning third, second, and first place regionally before winning First Place at the Florida State HOSA Leadership Conference in Health Career Preparation, qualifying for the HOSA International Leadership Conference in Indianapolis in June 2026. In faith and service, Giahna has served as an Altar Server and Catechist at the Cathedral of St. Ignatius of Loyola for six years. She volunteers weekly at Loggerhead Marinelife Center for beach cleanups, serves at Palm Beach County Libraries, and recently joined the Luv Michael Foundation supporting autism advocacy. She is also training with the American Red Cross and independently learning American Sign Language to communicate with deaf and nonverbal children. In leadership, Giahna serves as a Student Counselor at Independence Middle School and holds active membership in the National Junior Honor Society and Young Scholars National Honor Society. She was also selected as a CTY Ambassador by Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth.
