Scholarship Details:
The Young Leaders in Action: The Young Scholars Service Challenge celebrates the power of the next generation to create meaningful change through community service. Whether through a neighborhood clean-up, organizing a book drive, or raising awareness for an important cause, this award honors students who take initiative and lead with purpose to improve their communities.
Application Requirements:

Please have your student write a prompt response of 500-800 words to the following question: What issue did you address? What inspired you to take action? What impact did your work have on others?

Project must have taken place within the last 12 months

Project must benefit the community in a meaningful way

Student must have played a lead role in planning, initiating, or participating in the project

Photos showcasing the project in action (required)

Educator or mentor recommendation letter
